DeFuniak Springs and the Destin Florida

We stayed at our friend's house for a few days.  Our friend David came from Indianapolis to see his parents the same time we came to visit.

This is the most unique store I have seen as far as general stores.  It had all kinds of things in it and it was very crowded with so many things that you could hardly walk down the isles.

Our son enjoyed putting puzzles together.  He could easily put together a 24-piece puzzle together by himself and with help could do 48-piece and 100 piece puzzles.

We went down to the lake to feed the ducks.

We stayed at the Residence Inn Marriott in Destin, Florida.  I liked this hotel because it had a nice couch, a full size kitchen and of course breakfast and dinner.

Full size kitchen's are so convenient when you are traveling.  You can actually cook and eat real food.

This is the beach in Destin, Florida.  It was in the mid 40's that day and windy. So we did not stay long to take pictures or walk on the beach.

I love this picture I took of the beach in Destin, Florida.  I wish I could have walked on it but it was so cold!

This was the restaurant that was in front of the beach in Destin, Florida. We were going to eat here but we decided to eat somewhere else.

This is what the restaurant looked like on this side.  You could sit outside the restaurant in the back and see the ocean.

We were looking all over Destin for places to eat and settled on this place.  The food was delicious.  We ordered some alligator for an appetizer and it surprised me because it was so good.  It was the first time I had it.

They had a bowling alley inside the restaurant and a Bass Pro Shop next door.

Our son is a picky eater but he enjoyed the alligator too.

This was inside the restaurant/bowling alley.
